Supervision
“Supervision is a relationship about a relationship about other relationships” Frawley – O’Dea and Sarrat
Relationship is at the heart of what I do whether that is client work or supervision. It’s a space where we can hold in mind the client together whilst also paying attention to our own dynamic and what we co-create and how that is significant for the client material.
I have experience providing organizational supervision both for the charity sector and EAP’s. I currently provide EAP organizational group supervision as well as support for non-allied professionals.
I also provide group supervision for a North London Bereavement Charity.
In private practice the supervision I offer aims to meet you at your level of development; whether you are newly qualified or have years of experience. If you are a trainee or new to private practice; I am here to support you, to foster your strengths as you gain clients and to harness your growth as you develop your own voice as a therapist and ignite your own internal supervisor. I can also assist in all the practical considerations such as contracts, fee’s and insurance etc. that you need to attend to.
I aim for supervision to feel a safe space to share openly, nurture curiosity and to receive challenge in a respectful way.
I work integratively so supervision can be flexible in approach and modality.
I draw from psychodynamic theory, person-centred and relational and attachment perspectives. In my own work I use a mix of bottom-up and top-down approaches.
I am a trauma informed therapist so supervision will also have this component if needed.
Supervision slots are available either in Clapham Junction SW11 on Monday’s between 9-2pm or Thursdays in Clapham Old Town between 9-2pm.
Please do get in touch if you are interested to discuss this further.
